Modern'TRON, the super TRON

Designed as a boosted TRON, this special humbucker features an oversized Alnico 8 magnet combined with a moderate DC resistance around 6.5K to provide a voicing focused on the high mids. At the opposite of the usual humbucker with higher DC resistance , the Modern'TRON is able to produce a medium to high output focused on high mediums and highs that enhances the presence and goes easily through a mix. The ToD note: If you are looking for a distinctive voice in your modern style solos, replace you classic humbuckers by Modern'TRON (and put our Muscle Supra'TRON in bridge). 58+, Super PaF 

Variants around the humbucker are numerous. Our standard 58+ is our prefered one. It has been designed as a boosted "vintage" humbucker. It is powered by an Alnico 8 magnet and is wound just around 10.5K (8.5K neck) to keep clarity and dynamics. With its "classic" voicing focused in the low mediums, it is the perfect pickup for heavy blues, rock, hard rock or heavy metal.

The ToD note: The 58+ keeps a nice response in the high that makes it scream nicely during you solos. In calibrated set, it will provide to your Lester a comfortable output level with a classic heavy metal feel...Infinity of variations are available, so tell me what you are looking for...

The Loco, blade humbucker to cut through the mix

The Loco is probably our most powerful humbucker of the "Modern Series". With its two blades and powerful ceramic magnetic core it has enough cubics under the hood to drive crazy your amp. The Loco is designed to go one step ahead compared to a standard humbucker design in terms of presence and clarity. It is an amazing metal and soloist pickup that tracks very well and provides plenty of harmonics.

The TOD note: Available in calibrated set, the Loco makes a train of fire flows out of your guitare. For the most extrem dudes, the set LOCO in neck and BIG LOCO in bridge is a must-have.

Mini Loco, a tiny humbucker that sounds great

Mini Loco is our proposal for people looking for humcancelling solution or for an humbucker voice in a single-coil sized pickup. It is a very versatile model that sounds great for virtually all types of music, depending on the version and the gear you are going to plug it in. In neck position, the blades make it great for the bends. Its presence make it great for the soloist.  Available in tele format too (neck or bridge).

The ToD note: Mini loco is available in two variants: if you are looking for a humbucker type sound, ask for the zinc plated baseplate version (wound in standard at 9K). You will get something close to a PaF response with round bass, singing mids and clear highs. If you just want to remove the hum but keep a stratish open sound, choose the fiber frame version (wound in standard at 6.5K). Many other modern variants are possible too…
